The new VOD platform of the Capital City of Warsaw made by Proexe

At the beginning of September 2021, VOD Warsaw - the first VOD platform on the Polish market associating such a large number of recordings from various cultural institutions and non-governmental organizations - has its premiere. The solution prepared by PROEXE for the City of Warsaw and Andrzej Wajda Centre for Film Culture promotes Polish culture and allows full access to it during the expected successive waves of the pandemic.

Movies, theater, museums

In VOD Warsaw we can find a wide range of films that have become a permanent part of the history of Polish cinema. In addition, thanks to the platform, it will be possible to visit the Zachęta art gallery, the National Museum or the Museum of Warsaw. Platform users will have access to live recordings, e.g. plays from the programmes of Warsaw theaters. In addition, an extensive database of articles on the collections of Warsaw cultural institutions and news from the world of culture will be available. The platform allows you to pause the watched material, receive reminders about an upcoming show or introduce parental controls. The website is also open to the needs of foreigners staying in Poland - thanks to the presence of various language versions, they can also learn about Polish culture.

Platform functionalities

The entire system is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities and meets the requirements of WCAG - it is possible to watch films with translation into sign language. The platform is also integrated with several payment systems, and thanks to the integration with the DRM system, the highest security standards are ensured. PROEXE, as a partner of Google Cloud and Polish National Cloud, has embedded the platform in the Google cloud. VOD Varsaw is another solution of this type prepared by a company from Warsaw. PROEXE was previously responsible for the preparation, implementation and service work of the VOD Vectra, Vectra Smart TV, Wide Khaliji platforms. Currently, the company conducts extended sales activities of streaming platforms on foreign markets.
